Recipe Tips:

  • Use very cold wine: The wine should be well-chilled before blending. This keeps the smoothie refreshing and prevents it from becoming too watery when blending with ice.
  • Blend in stages for smooth texture: Start by blending the fruit and honey first, then add the wine and ice. This helps break down the fruit properly and avoids chunks in the smoothie.
  • Choose the right wine: Use a fruity white wine like Riesling, Moscato, or Sauvignon Blanc. These wines add natural sweetness and balance the flavors of the fruit.
  • Adjust the ice for the right consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add a little extra wine. If it’s too thin, add more ice or frozen fruit to make it creamier.
  • Serve immediately for the best taste: This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh. If left too long, the texture may separate, and the flavors won’t be as vibrant.

How To Store Leftovers?

  • Refrigerate: Let the wine smoothie sit until it reaches room temperature. Then, pour it into a sealed jar and store it in the fridge for up to 1 day. Shake well before serving, as the ingredients may separate.
  • Freeze: Pour the smoothie into ice cube trays and freeze for up to 1 month.
