How To Make Coconut Ice Tea?

  1. Steep the tea: Boil water in a saucepan, remove from heat, and add tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Sweeten the tea: Take out the tea bags and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.

  4. Chill the tea: Cover and refrigerate until cold.

Recipe Tips:

  • Use fresh jasmine tea bags for the best flavor: Older tea bags lose their aroma and taste, so always use fresh ones for stronger and more fragrant tea.
  • Dissolve sugar while the tea is warm: Stir the sugar in while the tea is still hot so it fully dissolves. If you add it later, it may not mix properly.
  • Chill completely before serving: Let the tea cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving. This helps the flavors blend and makes the drink extra refreshing.
  • Shake or stir before serving: The coconut milk and cream may separate while chilling. Always stir well or shake the container before pouring.
  • Use fresh lime slices, not bottled lime juice: Fresh lime slices release natural oils that add a bright, fresh flavor, while bottled juice can taste artificial.

How To Store Leftovers?

Let the leftover Coconut Iced Tea cool to room temperature. Then, pour it into a sealed jar or pitcher and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir well before serving, as the ingredients may separate.
